Hi Peter, As a rule of thumb, everyone recommends that you read the entire lab first. I have found plenty of "gotchas" and land mines even in the labs of book 1. Like Bob said, you will get the hang of it the more you do. I tend to check my answers when I am finished and check where I went wrong and read up on that specific technology, task, etc.

No one said the lab was easy! Seriously, it's just something you need to get a feel for. The whole idea is that you need to start to understand the implications of your choices and figure out the "right" answer based on what the lab is asking overall.
