Has anyone run into this error? interface Serial2/0 description Serial Link to R5 bandwidth 3088 ip address 150.100.25.2 255.255.255.0 encapsulation ppp ip tcp header-compression iphc-format serial restart-delay 0 ip rtp header-compression iphc-format end
R2(config-if)#ip rsvp bandwidth 3088 RSVP bandwidth (which is the bandwidth for the IP headers and data inside them, but not the required link layer headers) exceeds 75% of interface bandwidth. It may be that you need to enter the 'bandwidth' command to correct the system's understanding of the available bandwidth. If that's not the case, then: Due to bit-stuffing, layer 2 headers and layer 1 framing, and the need for routing and keep-alive traffic, not to mention the RSVP messages themselves, this is just plain too high. Configure your interface realistically for the bandwidth available. R2(config-if)# I'm hitting the same error on R5. Version 12.4(25d), GNS 7200 routers. _______________________________________________ For more information regarding industry leading CCIE Lab training, please visit www.ipexpert.com Are you a CCNP or CCIE and looking for a job?
