Thats a real drag man. I wouldnt be too fussed about "some being surprisingly lower" - remember that the higher level things are dependent on the lower levels (ie have one route missing for your L3 then your NAT, HSRP, Security may all be scored lower as a result).
Now you know what its like... best thing you can do (besides drinking yourself silly for the first few days) is get right back into it!
