OSPF uses it's own preferences within the protocol itself (Intra over Inter 
over External, etc), but this does not get redistributed unless the metric-type 
is used in the calculation (type-1 increments, type-2 stays the same from hop 
to hop). So, it only affects the composite metric (that goes into 
redistribution) and not the AD.
