Hello, I cannot speak for others, but in my case the only TCL script that I use was to ping multiple destinations and not to type multiple times the ping command.
Nevertheless you can do interesting things with TCL if you know it. I my case I'm not really a master of TCL so if it's not a requirement I prefer to leave it out.
