Hey Marc,

I have seen this while running the command in GNS3 only, not when doing this on
real hardware. One thing to note is that the OSPF fast hello feature is very
CPU intensive and this may be the issue. Also you might want to check the
reliability of the link as well. Others may have more input on this but I have
seen it as well. Cheers!

/Steve

Subject: [OSL | CCIE_RS] ip ospf dead-interval minimal

Does anyone ever have an issue with the adjacency dropping
occasionally after using this command?

ip ospf dead-interval minimal hello multiplier 4

Mine seems to drop every several minutes but always immediately
recovers. Is this just a case that the router got busy and missed 1
seconds worth or hellos? Or is there something I should be trying to
troubleshoot further?

Thank you,

Marc
