I see a number of IPexperts tasks that mention RFC numbers and I am curious if this is something I can expect to see in the actual lab exam. Here is one example from vol 3 lab 1.
"Configure OSPF for the network between R2, R5,, and R6 in area 256. Configure OSPF for the network between R1, R2, and Switch 2 in area 12. Area 12 should use the option discussed in RFC 1587." Besides RFC1918 (private addresses) I really don't know many RFC numbers. In this task I was able to figure it out by opening the DOCCD to the OSPF section and doing a control-f and searching for 1587. I guess my question is if I need to memorize a bunch of RFC numbers (and if so which ones), or if I should expect to either not see this type question, or that I should be able to find the answer in a similar manner? Thanks in advance. Marc _______________________________________________ For more information regarding industry leading CCIE Lab training, please visit www.ipexpert.com
