I took my exam in RTP, NC. The proctor was very nice and helpful. With R&S, there is only a two-hour troubleshooting section and a six-hour configuration. If you finish the troubleshooting early, you can jump right into the configuration section. I took both of my attempts in RTP so I can't compare to anywhere else, but RTP has a nice facility (not to cold, not to hot, lots of free soda). I think it was 6 of us taking the lab (1 voice, 1 SP, 4 R&S)

My only issue is with troubleshooting and I like to stick with an issue until it is completely fixed. I focused too much time on my tickets in the beginning and at the end, I was rushing.
