Hi All, I'm taking a practice test before my Written test attempt next week and I have a question about one of the exercises. The Question Reads: Under Which two circumstances would RSTP bridge flush its CAM Table? A. Upon a port state Change B. Upon receiving a topology change notification C. When CAM resources have been completely used up D. Only Wehn changing from listening to discarding E. when transitioning from discarding to forwarding F. when transitioning from forwarding to discarding.
My logic would say the Answers are B and F, however, the test is selecting B and E. I would think that when a port stopped forwarding, there would be flushing necessary to remove the MACs linked to the interface that changed state. Can someone explain this to me? THANKs! _______________________________________________ For more information regarding industry leading CCIE Lab training, please visit www.ipexpert.com
