I would like to get someone's input to see if I'm wrong.. and i;m in the middle of building a lab.. _____ From: Matt Hill <[email protected]> To: Cedric King <[email protected]> Cc: [email protected] Sent: Thu, August 5, 2010 12:44:35 PM Subject: Re: [OSL | CCIE_RS] Good Question What do you mean by "work properly"? If the switch sends frames less than the mtu of the other device then there should be no problem. Otherwise those frames will be dropped by the other device by being too large (giants) Cheers, Matt CCIE #22386 CCSI #31207 On 5 August 2010 17:56, Cedric King <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi Group, > > Is it possible to have a cisco 3750 switch configured with a system mtu of > Jumbo 9000 work properly with a switch that is setup to run the default > size? > > v/r > > > CEDRIC KING (TAN COMMS LEAD) > > GDIT-Contractor > > Afghanistan Engineer District - USACE > > Qalaa House Compound, Kabul Afghanistan > > Off Comm: (540) 722-6853 > > Off DSN: (312) 265-46853 > > [email protected] > > [email protected] > > GENERAL DYNAMICS > Information Technology > > _______________________________________________ > For more information regarding industry leading CCIE Lab training, please > visit www.ipexpert.com <http://www.ipexpert.com/> > >
