I'm having a debate with the window guys who feel that they Scsi network
need to run jumbo 9000 size frames and they want to tie it into my current
nework with is running the default mtu value.. they are saying that it will
work but my arguement is that the frams will be dropped due to the size...

I would like to get someone's input to see if I'm wrong.. and i;m in the
middle of building a lab..

What do you mean by "work properly"?

If the switch sends frames less than the mtu of the other device then
there should be no problem. Otherwise those frames will be dropped by
the other device by being too large (giants)

Matt
