word by word from Beau's book

"Query Interval timer---This timer was changed to 125 seconds. Early
implementations used a
value of 60 seconds. This discrepancy can cause a problem when a router with
an early
implementation is operating on the same LAN as a router that is the IGMP
Querier and is
IGMPv2 compliant. In this case, the early implementation router may believe
erroneously that
the IGMP Querier (the IGMPv2-compliant router) has gone down because the
General Queries
are 125 seconds apart."
