Team
I just completed the VOD section on Access-Lists and Binary Operations. I could
use more practice with this topic. In the video Joe mentions that there is a
PDF on binary math on the website. I did some searches and the only link I
found was the URL below: http://blog.ipexpert.com/2009/06/10/wild-card-masks/
however neither of the download links work.
I wish IP Expert had a video and a workbook that covered binary math and
hexadecimal from the basics all the way through the advanced concepts that we
have to understand at the CCIE level complete with exercises to help solidify
this knowledge.
I currently have a collection of PDF documents that I review to get myself back
up to speed on these subjects for testing. However it would be nice to have it
all in one place. I have had to retrain myself to use (2^N) as defined by RFC
1878 instead of the older ((2^N)-2) method. J
When I learned binary I learned to use the math with no charts or tricks, I am
curious what methods engineers like Joe and the IP Expert team use?
Thanks
