Hey Kari, Your router is still trying to form adjacencies with the other routers, since you are blocking the inbound EIGRP traffic with your ACL you have unidirectional communication so the other routers will keep trying to form adjacencies until they time out and start again.
You can fix this by either blocking the outbound EIGRP packets with an ACL, or doing something like using passive-interfaces etc. Cheers, Donald Robb Productive Networks Inc ------------------------- CCIE Written, CCIP, CCSP, CCDP, CCNP, JNCIS, ENA, SCP, MCSA 2003, Security+, CCSA.R65, Experts-Exchange: Guru, Routing -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of [email protected] Sent: Sunday, April 04, 2010 10:00 AM To: [email protected] Subject: CCIE_RS Digest, Vol 51, Issue 10 Send CCIE_RS mailing list submissions to [email protected] To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit http://onlinestudylist.com/mailman/listinfo/ccie_rs or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to [email protected] You can reach the person managing the list at [email protected] When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: Contents of CCIE_RS digest..."
