Are lsa type 4 sent for all ASBRs? Or just when the asbr is sending type-1 external routes?
It is possible that any ABR that hears Type5 or Type7 LSAs just sends the lSA type4 out and let's the other routers use or not use depending on wheter the routes are E1 or E2. Since this could be manipulated differently at different routers. In fact I am Almost certain AbR should send lSA type 4 for any ASBR. Can some One help me or confirm?
