Change the MTU size to 14 and 'ip tcp adjust-mss' 1300. This will allow the customer to send email and browser Internet Normally , Actually Windows XP cannot change to MTU size automatic when there is load on link . If you browser with Windows Vista or Windows 7 you will not have any problems

I work with an ISP as network engineer and some of my customers are connected to my Internet backbone network using BGP op IGP for some of them. However, some of the customers are complaining that the can't get to some web site. But when trying to change the MTU at the end user workstation, the connectivity to all the site is OK. I don't know the solution and am wondering how to change the MTU on my router's Ethernet interface without asking the customer to change the MTU on all the worksattion ? Traceroutes shows that packets are lost beyong my provider's backbone. Is there something my Internet provider should do in other to let my customer have access to all the web sites ? Thanks !
