It's not that it doesn't support it, it's the old syntax. Commands that start with "tag-switching" are depreciated and are replaced with newer "mpls" syntax. The specific one, "tag-switching ldp router-id" is weirdly replaced with "mpls ldp router-id", but it also applies to TDP... which itself is sort of dead, being legacy and Cisco proprietary... but, you have to know about it for the lab! -- Marko Milivojevic - CCIE #18427 Senior Technical Instructor - IPexpert YES!
