Here is a specific question. In Volume 1 lab 10 there is a requirement that
R2 always be the DR.

The way I configured it was I had specified R5 and R6 with the "ip ospf
network point-to-point" command. I then adjust timers on R2 to match.
Adjacencies came up and R2 thought that the first router to become adjacent
was the BDR and the other was DRother.

So, does mixing DR electing interfaces with logical (ip ospf network: where
there is not DR election) work normally? Would this be an alternate
solution on the exam? please let me know if you have ever seen advice on
CCO or TAC cases saying that we should not mix these type of interfaces that
are "native" in ospf versus the "logically" configured with IP OSPF NETWORK.

I think you guys are great for being able to interpret our questions on this
mail list. I am sure we under-explain 90% of our questions because we are
working on that lab (and so much seem obvious to us at the time) and you
have the whole workbook to cover for questions!

thanks again guys for the help.
