If you lab up the scenario in the VoD see what happens when you don't prune
VLAN 10 from the trunk -- The Cat switch connected to Cat1 will go
errdisabled due to l2pt-loopguard (or something like that).  This happens
when that switch receives an l2protocol-tunnel frame on a port that is also
configured for l2protocol-tunnel itself.

Then, get rid of the CDP tunneling magic on CAT1 and put VLAN 10 back on the
trunk.  It will then operate just fine.  This is something that took me a
long time to wrap my head around as a student.  I happened to have been
practicing L2-Tunneling and Q-Q one day using the topology I show you in the
VoD and ran into this issue.  That is why it is there : )
