Also foundry switches and extreme gear as well seem to be in the mix at least 
in my last place it was.

thanks  a great deal for the info.

The complexity of IOS switches seems to deter some customers from
implementing Cisco as comparing with competitors like Junipter.  JunOS seems
to have a one size fits all solution.
