Hi, The PIX is a firewall and a router is a router... Of course you can do packet fitering with a router and route with a pix but the options are not as extended as they are.
See it in a way that Michael Jackson can also sing madonna songs ... and madonna can sing Micheal Jackson songs ... but they are both not made for it.
