Hi guys, I have a couple of questions regarding LAN switching...
1) Can somebody please explain when exactly we use the command "switchport trunk *pruning* vlan..." and what is the best scenario to use it. I know that the default VLANs allowed to be pruned are 2-1001 but if you have a good example besides the one I found at http://packetlife.net/blog/2008/jun/26/when-does-vlan-pruning-occur/ would be great. 2) Also, I´m wondering if QinQ and L2 tunneling is a very important topic since it seems to be more of a L2 SP topic. ¿Is it really covered on CCIE R&S or is it covered on SP track?
