So here I am I am just tooling around with my 3550. I enable ip routing, and I put the following. Cat1(config)#ip routing Cat1(config)#router eigrp ? <1-65535> Autonomous system number Cat1(config)#router eigrp 10 Unknown routing protocol So even though I can use the ? mark, it tells me what the AS number could be, soon as I put in anything between 1-65535 tells me unknown routing protocol. What gives? lol. Happens on most routing protocols as well. I can set up RIP and I can set up ISIS,static and IGRP (yea the old one) but seriously why would I want those? haha. I'm on 12.1(22) as shown below. I am going to upgrade, but this is odd. Just wondering if someone else ever ran into this where it shows you the ability to do something, upon implementing it gives you the bird? IOS (tm) C3550 Software (C3550-I9Q3L2-M), Version 12.1(22)EA10b, RELEASE SOFTWAR E (fc1) Thanks a bunch, kind of funny in a wierd way I guess. Whatever your input, I am sure I'll find an answer soon. -Nick -----Inline Attachment Follows----- _______________________________________________ For more information regarding industry leading CCIE Lab training, please visit www.ipexpert.com
