Hey Nicholas,

Have you read the brillant post Joe put up on the ipexpert blog site, 
it's on his preparation approach?  I found it grounding and 
informative.  Maybe you should hop over there and give it a read if you 
haven't.   I think the really cool part to note about Joe's post is that 
he is a recent CCIE, he actually had to answer an "open ended question" 
and he's behind the podium now.  Give it a read if you haven't.
