Nice reference on the BTTF II hehe I love those films : ) Anyways, looking at this...I agree with you on the contradiction. Unfortunately, I remember going through this as well as a student. It is what it is, and I apologize for the headache. One big part of the work we are going to be doing for the full scale v4 lab workbooks if fixing things like this.
If there was not a contradiction there, I would say use weight since it is locally significant only.
