Do my home lab "Back Bone Routers" need to run MPLS? Are there any Lab Scenarios in Volume 11 that require this?
Thanks. (last question on the Router/MPLS stuff....promise). For v11.0 of the workbook, same goes with the minor change of R2 being a 3825, which also supports mpls. take a look at this link, I use it to find out if a specific cisco device/IOS supports whatever feature I am looking for. http://tools.cisco.com/ITDIT/CFN/jsp/index.jsp hope this helps, -max To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [OSL | CCIE_RS] Lab Routers Needing To Run MPLS From: [email protected] Date: Tue, 7 Jul 2009 10:22:55 -0400 Max, Do all the routers in the IP Expert racks support MPLS? R1, R2, R4, R5, R6,R7,R8,R9 ? If so, then I will need to upgrade mine to match. Cheers! I don't think they run MPLS ( I didn't see the command options in the config). I have access to three 2800 series routers which do run MPLS. Is three 2800 routers running MPLS enough to work on the labs? Or will I need more. Which three 1841 routers should I replace with the 2800 routers? Thanks. Cheers!
