Hey all.
Been out on Johnson Road (Town of Phelps) the last few nights in the hopes
of seeing the short-eared owls that commonly winter here. Tonight, at about
6:30 I was looking at my phone and about to head home when I was suddenly
startled by a very sharp "bark" very nearby. I looked up to see 2
short-eared owls cross the road very near my car and then head into the
field on the east side of the road!
Just in time for Halloween!!
