This morning I stopped at Armitage Road to take a look an listen. I’ve included my ebird list but a few highlights are: Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, Chesnut-sided, Yellow, and Yellow-rumped Warblers, and American Redstart.
No sight or sound yet of the Prothonotary Warbler. The nest box that had been hung on the west side of the canal had been ripped down over the winter by a fallen tree. It’s been replaced, and there is also one hung on the east side of the bridge that is easily seen from the road. https://ebird.org/checklist/S108101405 Alyssa Johnson -- Cayugabirds-L List Info: http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsWELCOME http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsRULES http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsSubscribeConfigurationLeave.htm ARCHIVES: 1) http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/maillist.html 2) http://www.surfbirds.com/birdingmail/Group/Cayugabirds 3) http://birdingonthe.net/mailinglists/CAYU.html Please submit your observations to eBird: http://ebird.org/content/ebird/ --
