As of Sunday at Allan H Treman State Park all of the weedy fields of goldenrod
etc enclosed by the grass paths had been mown, including the burdock thicket.
The locust-like small trees along the lakeshore had not been cut. The field
west of the dog farm had also been mostly mown, but leaving some edges on the
west and south and a remnant milkweed patch. The lowlands of Hog's Hole itself,
i.e. the northwest part of the park, had not been mown as of Sunday.

Just a heads-up that tonight looks to be a fairly decent migration night and
might be productive for new fall arrivals in the morning, such as Nelson’s
Sparrows...

Good luck and good birding!
