Comments:     It was very balmy and sounded like I was walking in spring 
weather. lots of birds singing and geese migrating north. Temperature was 
around 40 deg F but bright and cloudy.
15 species

Canada Goose  400     Lots of high flying migrating geese in several skiens 
throughout the walk. But also there were several individual pairs lower and 
flying together while calling. Saw at leat five pairs like that
Red-tailed Hawk  1     cirlcing just above my house
Mourning Dove  5     all along the walk a different locations
Red-bellied Woodpecker  1     from Hawtrhorn Orchards
Hairy Woodpecker  1
Blue Jay  40     Several groups all very noisy.
Black-capped Chickadee  4     Singing
Tufted Titmouse  5     Singing at various locaitons
White-breasted Nuthatch  1
Carolina Wren  2     A pair landed in a thicket just close to Maplewood 
apartments. I believe it was male and female. Male burst into cheery song of 
"thikhai thikhai" for quite sometime
American Robin  100     Two large flocks of Am Robin flew in from somewhere 
northeast of Maplewood apartments and continued south west.
Dark-eyed Junco  4     All four males trilling and each one ahd a different song
Northern Cardinal  6     5 males at different locations were singing different 
phrases along the trail
House Finch  5     Two group. It seemed males were chasing the females with song
House Sparrow  30     Lots of house sparrows were making noise. some were 
singing and others were calling
