And I've had a flock of 7 Common Redpolls on and off today. Started with 1 a
few days back, then 2, and now 7. Are we on the verge of a mini-irruption I
wonder?

But the Pine Siskins seem to have moved on. (Maybe to Laura's house!)

Subject: [cayugabirds-l] Flock of Redpolls

This afternoon at 3:30 we were visited by a flock of 15 Redpolls. They were
alone, as opposed to the ones we've seen this week which were always part of a
larger flock of Goldfinches with up to 9 Pine Siskins mixed in. The highest
number of Redpolls in that mixed flock has been 9. I hope more keep coming!
