On brief stops today at Mt Pleasant (11:34-11:48am) and Sandbank Rd
(1:52-2:05pm) Ann Mitchell & I saw 2 migrating BROAD-WINGED HAWKS at each
location. One at Sandbank was remarkably low directly overhead, and quite a
treat. The others were distant, and the first at Mt Pleasant (after a mere 6
minute wait) was powering north with a strong tailwind.
