Hi Therese, Follow rt. 89 north off US Rt. 20, west of Montezuma Wildlife Refuge, to NY Rt. 31. Turn right. You'll be in the low-lying agricultural mucklands. 0.7 mi. down rt. 31 on the left, the potato building is an old, seemingly unused, cement block building with faint old letters painted on the top: they spell "POTATO". You can park your car there (& nowhere else around there) and get out to scan the large, flat fields for birds. This area is north of the Knox Marcellus Marsh. See #57. The Mucklands, pg. 116, in the CBC Guide to Birding the Cayuga Lake Basin. Happy Solstice, Donna
