This afternoon as I returned from a taxi run to the western suburbs of Perry City I happened upon a flock of scores of AMERICAN PIPITS in the westernmost block of Aiken Rd in Enfield. Of course I noted what sort of field attracted them: newly cut hay on the first of November.
