Hi all, I started my walk this morning on the Wilson Trail at Sapsucker Woods by crossing the wooden bridge from the parking lot toward the Fuller Wetlands. There were numerous sparrows in the bushes on either side of the bridge, including several Swamp Sparrows. Toward the north end of the bridge I came across the first of several TENNESSEE WARBLERs, foraging low in the willows. Left at the end of the bridge and came across 3 PALM WARBLERS and 2 NASHVILLE WARBLERS. I turned left at the boardwalk to the Fuller Wetlands (rather than going onto the boardwalk) and there is where I came across a larger flock consisting of many CHICKADEES, 2 MAGNOLIA Warblers, 2-3 TENNESSEE WARBLERS, RED-EYED VIREO, a singing BLUE HEADED VIREO, one GOLDEN CROWNED KINGLET, another NASHVILLE WARBLER and a COMMON YELLOWTHROAT. In the distance was a singing CAROLINA WREN. The complete list is below. The birds moved north toward the Fuller Wetlands after about 10 minutes. Nice morning! Laura
