Hi all, I was working in the kitchen when I heard some strange hissing or heavy breathing like calls. So I thought may be wood-chuck was making this call as she and her babies were feeding on clover in the backyard. Then the calls got loud and seem to be coming from the front yard. So I opened the door to see a young raven was begging from the maple in front of the house. Seeing me he flew away. But then I heard the second one which was also in the yard on another tree and was also begging. May be a parent was nearby. I saw one adult flying across yesterday evening. So it looks like East Hill ravens have successfully bred or at least have fledglings!
