I stopped by Sodus Point this windy afternoon and found:
30 Common Terns on the pier
4 Caspian Terns usually on the pier but on the beach today
4 Ruddy Turnstones on the beach but they were on the pier earlier in the week
when it wasn't windy
1 American Pipit on the beach
4 Killdeer on the beach
24 Dunlin some on the pier and some on the beach
12 Semipalmated Sandpipers on the pier for a short time
I also heard Blackpoll Warblers and a Black-throated Green Warbler.
No Whimbrels.
