I know this is out of the immediate region but I thought folks may be interested in this bird.
This evening at Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge in the Kumpf Marsh I spotted a male transitional plumage RUFF. The photo is on the link below (it was sunset so the light is not great). Hopefully the bird sticks around for more to enjoy!
