I know this is out of the immediate region but I thought folks may be 
interested in this bird.  

This evening at Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge in the Kumpf Marsh I spotted 
a male transitional plumage RUFF.  The photo is on the link below (it was 
sunset so the light is not great).  Hopefully the bird sticks around for more 
to enjoy! It is on Feeder road, if you park at the trail head and walk to 
feeder road turn right the bird was on the left hand side in among many other 
pipers.
