Lot of First-of-year yard birds this morning on Hunt Hill Rd. (east of Ithaca). 
FOYs included many WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS, HOUSE WREN, BLUE-HEADED VIREO, 
several HERMIT THRUSHES, and BROWN CREEPER (singing). In addition, there was a 
flock of 24+ CEDAR WAXWINGS, many RUBY-CROWNED KINGLETS, 4-5 YELLOW-RUMPED 
WARBLERS, 3 FLICKERS, lots of drumming SAPSUCKERS, ROBINS building nests, a 
CARDINAL building a nest, lots of CHIPPING SPARROWS, COWBIRDS, REDWINGED 
BLACKBIRDS, a GRACKLE, SONG SPARROWS, PURPLE FINCHES, GOLDFINCHES, CHICKADEES, 
TITMOUSE, JUNCO, PHOEBE and BLUE JAYS. A wonderful spring morning!
