On a Sunday walk along the old Black Diamond RR bed between Powell Rd and the village of Interlaken, Mary Jean and I found an EASTERN TOWHEE. Also sighted were downy, red belly, chickadee, white breasted nuthatch, titmouse, cardinal, blue bird, blue jay and red tail. Often seen, but not yesterday, were mockingbird, robin and an array of sparrows.
