An Indigo Bunting finally showed up in my yard yesterday. Was wondering if I'd
been abandoned this year. Heard in the morning and mid-day, but later went out
to listen with a couple piano students and it placed itself in great view so
both the kids and their parents got good looks. Don't know if there's a female
around.

The yard Blue Jays fledged (nest not seen but know it's somewhere near), and a
couple nestfulls of Chipping Sparrows. The Carolina Wren has started up again
after about 6 weeks of silence or absence.
