There was 200 to 300 snow buntings just west of the observatory on mt pleasant on the south side of the road not to far off the road at about 3:15 PM. When I turned around at Mineah and came back I could not find them. They were either low in the brown grasses or in a constant undulating mass and I did not see anything that looked anything that looked other than a snow bunting. It is so neat up on Mt. Pleasant this time of year. Jim Gaffney
