While in St. Lawrence county I got a call from David Wheeler about the
Harlequins. I saddled up immediately and rode hard and got to the ducks before
dark. Whew. Besides the two male Harlequins, many Mallards and Canadas, there
was one each Lesser and Greater Scaup, some Coots and some Red-breasted
Merganzers. What a wonderful close to a very nice day.
