I spent some time around the swan pen in Stewart Park this afternoon. I wasn't
able to see an Eared Grebe, but there was a nice flock of Yellow-rumped
Warblers, ~10, with one Wilson's Warbler. At least one of the Yellow-rumps had
a light yellow tinge to the throat. Never having seen Audubon's Warblers in
fall plumage or otherwise I would hesitate to say it was anything but another
Myrtle.

There was also a Green Heron hunting on the island shore. Common Mergansers and
Cormorants are very plentiful.

Yesterday at Hog Hole there were several Yellow Warblers along the lakeshore
and too many hungry mosquitos to make further exploration of the tall grass
enjoyable.

Happy birding,

 Gary
