Drove along Rock River Rd in Ovid this evening about 6pm and saw two short eared owls over the fields just north of the Beardsley farm, which is on the northeast corner of the intersection of Rock River Rd. and Wycoff Rd. Light was getting low and I first saw one flying fairly near the road, and while following it with the binos as it meandered further and further from the road, a second one came into view.
