Hello,
I am trying to install CAS 7.0 or 7.1 on Debian 12. I have installed Java
21 from the package provided here:
https://download.oracle.com/java/21/latest/jdk-21_linux-x64_bin.deb
and Tomcat 10 from the Debian repository.
When I build, I get the following error:
FAILURE: Build failed with an exception.
* What went wrong:
Could not determine the dependencies of task ':bootWar'.
> Could not resolve all dependencies for configuration ':runtimeClasspath'.
> Failed to calculate the value of task ':compileJava' property
'javaCompiler'.
> Cannot find a Java installation on your machine matching this tasks
requirements: {languageVersion=21, vendor=matching('AMAZON'),
implementation=vendor-specific} for LINUX on x86_64.
> No matching toolchain could be found in the locally installed
toolchains or the configured toolchain download repositories.
Did I use the wrong version of Java or tomcat?
