Hi, I have just deployed CAS 7.0.5.1 using the configuration files from the
6.6.13 instance (home-made Docker image) we were successfully running until
now. After some minor changes due to the deprecation of some configuration
attributes, everyting is running fine. But I have a strange performance
problem with OIDC (it's the first service I have experienced some problems
with). Right after CAS has been started, things need some time to wake up, I
am used to that. So when I try to authenticate using OIDC after startup, I have
to wait around 15 seconds until I get the CAS login page. Then around the same
delay until I get the claim release page.
After that, everything is fine and all subsequent OIDC calls are fast. But if
I leave CAS running for "some time" (I have not measured it yet, but the
problem occurs if I leave it alone overnight for sure), I experience those
delays again. Of course, the application has not been restarted in between.
Nothing has changed, the LDAP datasource, the applications, the server,
everything is still the same. So far I have not been able to find anything
useful or relevant in the logs, be it on CAS server or apps side. Any idea
about why this is occuring ? Maybe I missed some new parameter with a new
default value or ... Regards
