Try changing what you have:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apereo.cas</groupId>
<artifactId>cas-server-support-ldap</artifactId>
</dependency>
to this:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apereo.cas</groupId>
<artifactId>cas-server-support-ldap</artifactId>
<version>${cas.version}</version>
</dependency>
I'm pretty sure you have to have a version in there, so Maven knows which
one to give you.
