With respect to the remember issue; does it work if you do not close the
browser?
There are settings, cas.tgc.maxAge and cas.tgc.rememberMeMaxAge, to tune cookie
behaviour.
You may also investigate your browser settings, perhaps it is removing the TGC
on browser close.

I am trying to add remember me is well I have added this
cas.ticket.tgt.rememberMe.enabled=true
cas.ticket.tgt.rememberMe.timeToKillInSeconds=28800
in the cas.properties and used the loginform remember me check box in the html
but it is not working after closing the browser
