CAS 5.1.0.RC1 has been released: https://github.com/apereo/cas/releases/tag/v5.1.0.RC1
I encourage you to review the changelog/blog and upgrade as early as reasonable. Changes and bug fixes are selectively being backported to the 5.0.x release line, but for the most part and except where noted by the changelog, the upgrade should remain backwards-compatible configuration-wise. The overlay project will soon start to own a specific branch for the 5.1.x release. If you run any and all issues, please report back and file an issue submission on Github. There will be follow-up release candidates to accommodate change requests, etc with the final GA release hopefully near the next Open Apereo 2017 conference.
