Hello Reinier,
sure I´ll help for doing that. Even when I´m not sure
that this web-based bugtracker is user firendly. That´s just an "IMHO" from
me.
I full agree with your comment about splitting off my
branch into an new project. What we (and all others) had been done so far for
Tanzania is helpfull for the whole project and this should never splittet
off into an complete new project. Could be the start of an big
end.
When all work is done that an outpatient clinic in Tanzania
is working fine, we can look what different processes are used in East Africa
and how we can change the main branch to bring up the whole project in a wider
perspective. I´ve talked with Reinier some weeks before in Dar Es Salaam about
that topic. In most cases I´m not sure that it can be used or adapted in an
"easy way". But if there is an will, there will be an way. The requirements for
different kind of patient registration is might be the same requirement in other
so called third world countries and is not covered by the main
development.
Anyway, there was quite a lot of changes in the "process
flow chart". And I have not really an idea what can be used in an US or European
hospital out from our changes, but even when it brings up to an new idea most of
the work could be done and adaption is quite more easy like complete new
development. (in most cases). But please don´t ask me about worked out
documentations. The project here is quite on move and had so far some changes
that an documentation is quite difficult. There will be an documentation, but
just after finishing and having an stable release.
That is the plan we´re following. Also all is under the GPL
and everyone can use it.
If you want to have this project and would like to bring up
this as an new project then you can do it. We´ll continue at sourceforge.
Robert
Hi Robert,
Yusuph and me from the East-African CareNet team
have admin status on sourceforge, so we can help. How would you like to set
this up? By changing the dropdown of the 'group'? (We need to update that
anyways, because it does not even contain the current version.)
@ Josi:
Making this a seperate project is not really what we want. Eventually Roberts
code should be branched back into the main branche, and be used using
configuration of the care2x environment with parameters instead of being a
seperately maintained project. (or am i jumping the gauntlet here,
robert?)

Hi Reinier,
that would be a wounderfull idea. No idea how to manage
this. Can Elpidio or Kaloyan manage this?
The issue of every developer is that the head is deep
into details that the main focus could be lost. A bugtracker reminds us what
is at the base missing.
Robert
Hi Josi & Robert,
Would it be a
good idea to add 'Elct 0.2' as an option to the 'group' in the bugtracker,
so that you can post your bugs there?
Or is it a better idea to
create a seperate bugtracker for the ELCT 0.2 branche?
Both ways
should make it easier to manage the bugs that anyone might
encounter.

Hi Josi,
To
get access to the Subversion repository, the following resources might
be informative:
- To start reading about Subversion,
SourceForge has created this page: https://sourceforge.net/docs/E09
(read it well, also the documents they are referring to!) - If you
use eclipse (www.eclipse.org) as your
development environment, there is an additional Subversion plugin that
you can get from http://subclipse.tigris.org/ -
there are also standalone Subversion clients (like Tortoise, available
from http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/
)
Once you have your client up and running, you can point it to
the general Care2x Subversion repository at https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/care2002
-
From there, open the 'branches' folder - The branche that you are
interested in is called 'elc_tanzania-0-2' - Checkout that branche
(and that branche only)
good luck & thanks for
your interest in Roberts work,

Hello Ashwin,
we´re still on work, it´s not finished. But the latest release (beta
stage) is still on sourceforge. You can find it at the branch (SVN)
elc_tanzania-0-2.
(If you´re not familiar with subversion, please let me know)
Yes, we made some changes in the sql file. Not sure that we have
updated the sql-files on the branch, I´ll check this next week.

Does anyone know where i can get a stable release of the Care2x
version
that the tanzanian team has created. Also, the sql files please, as
they
seem to be different.
Thanks,
Ashwin
